A deductible is the portion of a claim you agreed to pay when you purchased your insurance policy. The deductible could be applied each time you have a claim on your home/farm policy.

No. You must purchase a sump pump failure endorsement. BRADFORD VICTOR-ADAMS MUTUAL offers an endorsement to cover losses caused by sump pump failure / backup of sewer or drains. Damage caused by sump pump failure is not covered under your basic policy.

We recommend you ask family and friends for referrals. We recommend you use someone local who will stand behind their work, and make sure they carry their own insurance coverage.

After you report your claim, a BRADFORD VICTOR-ADAMS MUTUAL claims representative will inspect and write an estimate to determine the damages as the result of the fire. We will write our estimate based on the cost to repair or replace the damaged property with standard new constructions materials of like kind and quality. You would be responsible for any increase in costs for “nicer” cabinets.

If a tree falls on your home due to wind, we will pay to have the tree removed from the dwelling, to the ground, so your home can be repaired. Your policy does not provide coverage to replace trees damaged by wind in a storm.

This is what's known as the difference between market value and replacement cost, which many people do not understand."Replacement cost" is the amount needed to repair the damage or to rebuild the home to its pre-loss condition. For insurance purposes, the replacement cost of a home is NOT the market value of the home, its purchase price or the outstanding amount of any mortgage loan. It does not include the value of the land, but is the cost of rebuilding your home.

We Got You Covered - Since 1869

Bradford Victor-Adams was started on October 12, 1869. On that day seven local property owners met and organized our Farm Mutual. At that time, rural America had no insurance protection. These founders joined together helping and supporting each other in time of fire and lightning losses.  Bradford Victor-Adams still continues today to provide insurance protection to it's clients just as it did in 1869.  If you have questions about your policy or claims please check out of Frequently Asked Questions Page or contact us at (815) 456-2334.
